These powerful space nations usually had ludicrous amounts of land, resources, and military units, mostly due to the young ages of most of the players at the time. Because of how scarce Earth land would become after the community's growth, many people began to create space nations. At this time, more people began to roleplay as nations instead of private military companies. The BWMC would experience growth in the years 2017 to 2018, with many new players creating their own nations or other entities or joining preexisting ones. Noelsnook also led a major space faction, the Grand Galactic Empire, which was based on the Galactic Empire from the Star Wars franchise. The most infamous of this time period would be the player known as Noelsnook, who began many wars while he led the United States of America. A few players, however, began to roleplay as nations. At first, it was just a military that other members would join and create vehicles and other things, however, as time progressed, the players created a role-playing system, later leading to the creation of the first BWMC lore.Īfter the foundation of the PMRDD, multiple other players began their own military companies like the PMRDD. The player who is often credited with beginning what would become the BWMC is Cliff Ricks, a longtime Blocksworld veteran whose military, the PMRDD, is regarded as the first military that was created in the BWMC. Players had already begun building military-related models and worlds, and some would be instrumental to the creation of what would be the BWMC.Ī rise in Blocksworld's popularity around this time as well as the implementation of a search bar would aid in the formation of the BWMC. These were not major events in Blocksworld due to the fact that a search bar was not implemented yet, making it hard to look for specific worlds. The roots of the military community lie in small, unnoticed battles between players and "proto militaries" before 2016. In recent times, "nation roleplay," roleplaying solely as the nation as a whole, was also been joined by "character roleplay," roleplaying as a character, which has existed for some time but was only recently gaining more traction within the community. Earth-based players were sometimes referred to as "Earthies" while space-based players adopted the term "Spacies." Because most Earth land was usually taken, many players decided to become space nations, which generally allowed more freedom in terms of vehicle design and lore. The BWMC was not only limited to Earth, but to the entire Milky Way galaxy and in rare cases, beyond, with players able to choose between if they wanted to be an Earth-based nation, space-based nation, private military company, or even something civilian. The Phoenix-class Superbattleship, a warship fielded by the Regiment of the Damned, a nation in the BWMC. Due to the server shutdown and a relatively small portion of the BWMC on the secondary server, the roleplay, before February 13, 2021, continued fully through Discord, with players able to make "news submissions" in order for their in-roleplay decisions to be considered canon.
BLOCKSWORLD HOW TO MAKE A WEAPON MAC
The BWMC and Blocksworld itself could still be accessed fully through the Blocksworld Secondary Server, which is only available for Blocksworld on PC, Mac and Linux. However, due to time, the infamous server shutdown and Error 505, it shrunk exponentially, with most current members at its end being veterans in the community. The BWMC was formerly a massive community, with the largest military, Cliff Ricks' PMRDD, having a colossal member count of around 150 at its peak. Players were also able to "fight" other players in-roleplay to settle disagreements between nations, which could've be over land, resources, and in many cases in the past, rivalries between the players out-of-roleplay.
The BWMC featured an active roleplay controlled by the player base, who created different factions and built weapons, vehicles, and other things for their faction in order to become more powerful.
